Whew, mornings can be a whirlwind, can’t they? Back-to-school season reminds us just how much so. I considering being a Morning Person with capitals M and P, but I say that with the vision of waking to embrace quiet light, peaceful space, and time for an invigorating workout in the fresh air, setting the tone for a productive, clear-headed day. I’m not sure how much of a morning person I am when it comes to the reality of being responsible for groggy young humans getting up, nourished, and out the door in time for school. We’re doing it, though, and we’re doing our best—which is what we all need to remind ourselves and each other is how we do things.
